Illusions and Love

Today we are asked to look past the illusion and see only the love within each person, including yourself. Try to see things from your higher self’s standpoint. When you look at people through the eyes of your spirit you will see only the other person’s true nature, which is love. It’s like turning on a light and the darkness instantly disappears.

Ask the Universe for help to see the other person’s higher self, look past the ego personality and see their true nature. It will be much easier to understand, forgive and release any anger towards the other person when you focus on love instead of fear.

Be sure to do this for yourself as well. So often we forget to treat ourselves with the same love and respect we show others. Be kind to you today and know that by nurturing yourself and your needs you are not only being a good role model to others but you also have more available to give to others.

Friends

I wanted to talk to you about relationships today, especially making new friends. I would encourage you to evaluate and take inventory of your life. It’s true that we become like the people we spend most of our time with so it is definitely worth considering if your close relationships are healthy and balanced.

Ask for guidance on how to be more discerning when it comes to friendships and try to be more mindful of how you are being treated in your interactions with others. Often times when we grow and develop spiritually we shift to a higher frequency. We raise our vibrations and it’s only natural that the people we surround ourselves with feel this shift, friendships will change and you will automatically begin to attract people who are a better match to you energetically. This is a natural process and nothing to resist or be afraid of. You aren’t rejecting or judging your old friends, you are simply making way for new people in your life. Again, this ties in with the previous theme of letting go of the old to make way for the new.

Trust that the law of attraction will draw like-minded people to you and know that you deserve friends who love, respect, honor and support you on your journey. Ask the Universe to bring you wonderful new friends that share your interests and values and it is done.

Soul Love

Following up on my previous post about soul love, I wanted to share with you something that really works when looking for a soul mate relationship.

To begin with you need to be very clear on what it is that you want, the more specific you can be the better. It’s important that you write this down, think of it as an order to the Universe if you will. The more details you can provide the better. It’s always better to focus on the positives and what it is that you do want instead of the characteristics you wish to avoid. For example, it’s better to write “I want my partner to be fit and healthy” rather than “I don’t want him/her to be a smoker”.

Always end this ‘wish list’ with ‘”This or something better” as the Universe often have much bigger and better plans for us than what we can even imagine. There is no need to limit yourself, be honest and express your true desires, no-one else needs to see this list. The next step is to be open to receiving and knowing that you deserve the best. Detach from the outcome and let go.

Know that your soul mate is looking for you as much as you are looking for him/her, let go of all worries or the need to push and “make” it happen yourself. Sometimes when we strive or push too hard we block ourselves from receiving. Release it to the Universe and trust that your prayers will be answered.

Another way is to also write a letter to your future partner, one that you will never send. Pour your heart out in this letter, share your feelings and tell him/her how much you are looking forward to your union with your soul mate. This may sound crazy or at least really silly, but it works!

On Relationships

If you are looking for the love of your life, your soul mate or your twin flame, then this post is for you. We all have many soul mates and there is no reason to worry that you will never meet the “right” person for you or that you’ve missed an opportunity. When one door closes another one opens. As you know, worry never helps anything, but prayer always does, ask the Universe for help with preparing you for your new love.

All relationships serve a purpose and teach us lessons. Therefore, no partner is better than another, they are all learning experiences that help us understand ourselves better and teach us important life lessons. This means that no break-up or separation is a mistake in truth. We grow from each encounter and this prepares us for the next step on our journey. With each experience, no matter how hurtful, we learn something and afterwards we actually have a better picture of what it is we really want, or don’t want, in a partner.

Be grateful for all your relationships, give thanks for the lessons you’ve learned, bless your past partners and most importantly – forgive everyone. Forgiving doesn’t mean you say that what the other person did was right, it simply means you are no longer willing to carry the pain and resentment that in truth only hurts you, not the other person.

Releasing our ex’s is an important step in finding new love and in my next post, I will share some other practical tips on how to attract a perfect partner.

The Ego and Perfection

Do you feel you have to be perfect before you can help or teach others? There really is no thing as the perfectly healed healer. You simply have to start before you’re ready. Trust that the Universe will support and guide you along the way. The ego will always find excuses for you to delay your mission here on Earth. It will engage you in delay tactics, try to convince you that your family/money/work circumstances etc. need to change before you can begin and that you have to be perfect before you can start.

Instead, teach that which you need to learn and you will help others as well as your own soul along the way. What you learn and what you know is meant to be shared. The more of us that wake up to this truth and refuse to give in to the ego’s fear of other people’s opinion, the quicker we will light up the world and find peace. That is the ultimate goal right? To turn our back on fear and embrace love in every aspect of our lives.

In truth, there is only love and you can never be separated from that which you came from. The illusion of separation is only true as long as you don’t see yourself as one with those around you, and of course one with God/Source/the Universe/your Creator. When you remember this fact, that we are all one, you will no longer believe in the illusions and excuses of the ego.

It’s time to share your gifts with the world, don’t hide your light, instead shine even brighter and let this inspire and uplift those around you.

Passion and Purpose

Let’s talk about Life Purpose today. I love being able to do what I do and am passionate about helping others find their purpose too. Writing and teaching has always been what I enjoy most, ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be a teacher and for as long as I can remember I’ve been writing stories, articles and now I’m working on my first book. I have always been scared of taking my work to the public, since it’s so personal, but I’ve promised myself to stop procrastinating with my writing. Being able to do what I love brings me immense joy and happiness and it is my goal to assist others in finding their bliss and true calling.

I want to hear from you! What is your passion?

As we’ve talked about before, you all have important gifts to share with the world. You have healing abilities and sometimes you just take them for granted and use them without reflecting upon them, which of course is perfectly fine, but if you knew how much guidance and reassurance you actually bring to people, just by being you, you might consider taking these abilities one step further, to the next level, and in turn help more people. This could be an indication that counselling others is a big part of your life purpose. The world needs more healers and with counselling you heal through words. Do friends and family often seek you out for help and advice? Trust you with their secrets and confide in you? Do you find that when you give people your opinion, they really listen and benefit from your input? This is definitely a sign that you have natural counselling abilities that can be used professionally as well, if you choose to.

Being Your Authentic Self

Today we’re talking about the importance of being yourself fully, your true authentic self, letting your true self shine. There is no-one else like you and you are very needed on this Earth. Each of our own individual gifts and talents are like the different players in an orchestra. Each instrument is equally important and needed to make the music. There is no real competition for your life purpose, only you can fulfill your unique mission.

Please don’t compare yourself to others, know that everyone is on their own path with their own individual lessons to learn. You are perfect just the way you are and you are very loveable. By being your true self you give others the opportunity to get to know and love the real you.  Go forth and shine today!

Dreaming Big(ger)

I wanted to talk to you about dreams today, about dreaming big for yourself, living your fullest potential and to let your inner beauty shine through your creative expression.

One of the most common questions people ask me in my private coaching sessions is, “What is my life purpose?” and I think this is something most of us ask ourselves at one point or another. My belief is that when you follow your bliss, when you allow yourself to commit to your true passion and release all worries about how this is going to support you financially, then your true purpose will be revealed to you. It is so easy to talk ourselves out of what we feel in our hearts we would like to spend our time doing.

A great question to ask yourself is “If I had all the money I could ever need and all my loved ones were taken care of, how would I chose to spend my day?”

Sure, you might answer that you would lie on a beach and do nothing and while this may be true, most of us have a deep desire to contribute in some form, to make a difference, to leave a mark during our time on Earth. This is where you are getting close to finding your purpose.

What do you love doing so much that you would continue to do this even if no-one paid you for it? Or, what issues really upset you, when do you think to yourself “Someone should really do something about that”? Well, that ‘someone’ may be you!

Also, know that there is no competition for your unique life purpose, it’s like a giant orchestra, each instrument is needed and no one is more important than the other.

So, go embrace your dreams, they are not too big or too crazy. You would not be having those dreams if you did not have the ability to fulfill them…

Cycles and Rhythms

I wanted to discuss cycles and rhythms today. I feel it’s time for you to take a break and get some rest. It’s okay to do nothing sometimes and it’s often after such a pause that we become even more productive when we return. Everything in the Universe works in cycles, and so does your energy levels. Don’t be so hard on yourself, make sure you get enough sleep, maybe make time for a yoga class or just sit in stillness and meditate for 15 minutes. Everything will still be there when you return.
