How often do you stop, reflect and celebrate all that you’ve already accomplished in your life? Take the time to take inventory and check in with yourself today, how much have you actually already achieved? It’s so easy to feel overwhelmed by your to-do list, the hundreds of unread emails in your inbox or the many other “shoulds” in your life.
This is a reminder to stop and celebrate every little thing you’ve done today and see each action step as a small success. Maybe you got your children dressed, fed and off to school on time this morning, perhaps you made someone smile on your way to work, maybe you cleaned your apartment last night or managed to finally make that phone call you’ve been putting off for so long. There are always small successes to take note of and celebrate. Give yourself some credit for all the things you do accomplish in a day instead of beating yourself up about what you didn’t get done.
Sometimes even procrastination can be something positive. Perhaps the timing is not right, maybe outside circumstances need to be different before your project can come into full bloom. There could be a period of germinating. Sometimes the efforts you put in won’t yield any results for a while and this can be because things are happening behind the scenes.
Like a seed, some projects need a little time before they come into fruition. Please have patience, keep the faith and trust that your wishes are coming true and that you are being helped and guided along the way.
What are three small wins you can celebrate today?
